hope all is well with you and the cold isn't as bad as it is from me! for the first time in about nine days i have had the chance to sit and catch up with myself and listen to one of my favourite albums in the world all time low- nothing personal and read lots of blog posts and watch some vlogs i haven't watched yet. its such a small and uninteresting thing but it is absolute bliss!!!! (and relax aaaaaaahhh)
in my busy week i finally done my last shift and a week today i start my new job, nervous and scared but REALLY EXCITED. i have bought lots of pretty clothes to start my job with, i might do an outfit of the day each day for the first week as some of them are so pretty and ill look like a proper grown up and even have to cover my art work up on my arms! most new buys are built up of things that I've seen in shops before and spotted in charity shops around the north east area and primark and new look sale stuff! i didn't want to buy too much too soon as i haven't sorted out the stuff i dont want in my wardrobes! (too many clothes in so little space, they're trying to escape and be freeeeeee)
through all the busyness I've been waiting for my theperfectstrangers partner to appear and it still hasn't, the perfect strangers is a cool little project by oh comely team its just like a massive game of pass the parcel. i am really hoping i get someone from another country as i really want to send them a best of Britain parcel with lots of english based things in it! I've bought a couple of things anyway for it and made a little something for them even if i don't get someone from another country. i rechecked my email about it and they said we should know by either today or at the latest thursday! but again I'm really happy to have joined such a cool project and it makes such a dull time of year for me a little bit cooler with overworking to save for christmas.
my last bit of my post is to do with some of my favourite things I've found this week and some of them are amazing! my first favourite thing is not my usual cup of tea when it comes to music but is amazing and I'm not even surprised at how amazing it is! as i have a family with really pop based music taste whenever we are in the car or getting ready capital is on and this week because of the VMAs and them being in glasgow for it they have had Calvin harris's new album on and each day they have played a track from it. Its fair to say that it is amazing! i love love love some of the artists he has joined forces with. the likes of HAIM and Big Sean are on it. the song Open Wide with Big Sean is top notch and one to listen out for when you are on a night out! calvin harris never fails to bring some belters to the scene and this is a fine example of it!
my second favourite is a tiny tea shop in the town i live, i live in hartlepool, its not very known and really doesn't have much to do but recently a 1950s tea shop open on the sea front (season carew) and it is AMAZING. they do the best scones i have ever tasted in my life and they are the loveliest of staff. it has all the 1950s feel with world war two posters all over and shabby chic furniture. we had afternoon tea and I've said it before and ill say it again the scones were to die for. id highly recommend if you are anywhere near this place to check them out, it has been the highlight of my week and such a nice find after hearing about it from my mum (another tea lover). here is a link to there Facebook page, go and check it out!
another one of my favourite things this week is a youtuber. they are my favourite this week, last week and every week. the sacconejolys, they are a vlogger family from ireland who have recently moved to the uk and they post the upmost cutest videos i have ever seen. they show their days with Dad Jofee or Jonathan and Mum Anna showing their two children emilia and eduardo. it lovely to seem them grow up and it always makes my day at 6 o'clock to watch they have been up to and they are the funniest loveliest family ever! so check them out, I've put a link somewhere in this paragraph.
my last favourite from the past couple of days is a clothes favourite. as the seasons are changing and winter is upon us, I've found a massive love for jumpers. monochrome ones to be exact, I've been recently looking and looking in charity shops around my area. ill show some of them on my outfit of the day next week, as i have bought quite a few.
so thats it for my post, its took my about three days to complete as i have wrote a paragraph each time i have had a sit down!
